The Lighthouse of Lake Jackson

The Youth of the Lighthouse traveled to Mokopane, Limpopo Province, South Africa from July 23, 2010 to August 5, 2010.  Four of our young people and three adults joined missionaries in Mokopane to minister in many different areas.

Ministry projects included public, Christian and village school ministry.  The students presented assemblies and assisted village students with their school work.  Construction projects included removing a swing set from one site and moving it to another, as well as, breaking bricks to make a gravel driveway.  Other ministry included farm ministry (morning devotions, Jesus film, etc.), ministering to churches and youth groups and women's ministry.
